The midterm elections in 2018 will be extremely important. We’ll be electing a new Governor, we will need to fight to get Salud Carbajal re-elected as our Congressperson–and we’ll have another chance at the 35th Assembly District. We will also be working to make sure our 2nd District Supervisor, Bruce Gibson is re-elected, and we’ll put a lot of effort into getting someone who will really represent us in District 4.
Make sure that you are registered to vote, and if you haven’t already, make sure you are registered as a Permanent Absentee Voter. If you are someone who loves to go to the polls on Election Day and get that “I have voted” sticker, you can still do that! You can take your absentee ballot to the polling spot and turn it in. But, just in case something unexpected comes up and you have to be out of town on Election Day, you can make sure that your vote is counted by mailing it in.
Haven’t registered to vote? Need to re-register because you’ve moved, changed your name, or want to change your Party? Here is where to get the information you need and to register online: CA Secretary of State
